If the tea party is more then taxes than they need to show it." BTW- it should read if the tea party is more THAN taxes THEN they need to show it.

How many "KILL THE BILL" signs did Tea Partiers display? Thousands would be the answer. Obviously you don't bother to read the signs that people carry.

As for many people satisfied with the taxes they pay - well almost half of the US pays no taxes - why? cause you have to have a job and make money to pay taxes!! This country NEEDS jobs.

I won't argue the need for jobs. We do need them. However the "KILL THE BILL" signs were tax driven. No one was against health care reform. The fear was how we'd pay for it and tax fear grew. Tea party organizers jump on this and ran with it despite facts to contrary. Even now most of the tea party people will swear Obama raised taxes. It's simply not true.

Nobody said it is wrong.   The issue being debated is whether or not the TEA party is mad about taxes or not.   The preponderence of evidence says they are.   The poll says that is not the thing that makes them most angry. 

And as an aside there is the puzzlement of why they would be, since President Obama just signed into law a measure that gives 90 some percent of us a tax reduction.

It might be that they have finally realiized that and have therefor moved on to other issues.

TP (Davey) has not been able to prove his contention that the TEA party protests are all about tax protest, and that the Obumbler mistakenly made that assumption also when he denegrated all those senior citizens and others from my generation.   But he still keeps throwing various snippets at the wall hoping something will stick!

Looking back at some of his and Mal's posts reminds me of one time when I tried arguing with a cult member.  I came to realize it was an illogical pursuit.

You cannot reason with people that are incapable of  independent thought and rational choice-making.

Hiroad my friend, here's the silver lining.  Considering that ignorance is bliss, these two will go through life as happy as clams.
