I believe that the federal law says that it is illegal to be within our borders if you do not have the proper paperwork - like a work visa or travel visa. The AZ law says that the state/local gendarmes can now enforce the law. The reason that the AZ gov passed the law was because the feds can't seem to enforce the existing law either by securing the border(s), cracking down on businesses who hire illegals, or become aggressive with the drug/human smuggling along our southern border.
This law is not a new thing, except for allowing local and state law enforcement to try to protect the citizens of AZ from the rampant drug wars in their midst.
Nobama is the latest in a line of presidents who have ignored the border problems - wanting to pander to latinos for the votes. Reagan tried to get folks fired up but clinton and then w dropped the ball and now nobama can't even find the ball
BTW - you never answered my question - do you feel bad for the AZ citizens whose lives have been either lost, ruined or changed because of the illegals drug wars? Does that not bother you? You have made it abundantly clear that you have sympathy for the illegals - what about the LEGAL citizens?
