So, davieboy....you initiate a post over another state's law because you are "worried for the rights of the people"... in another state that you have zero control over and can do nothing about...and then degrade that post by posting a cartoon picture....and then further degrade that post by posting a link to a video of a comedian on a weekly comedy show.

So much for helping those you are worried about.....and so much for your credibility on the matter!

Here's the issue Bigbrother..... last week, Sheriff Arpaio conducted yet another in his continuing "Immigration Sweeps". He "captured" 105 people at one location, with 70 of them being found to be "illegals". My question is this...If Arpaio isn't using "profiling" as a means of corralling illegals, why were approximately 35 legals detained? Yes, they were released...after proving their citizenship status...but should they have even been rousted at all?

I know the law wants to paint a pretty picture that no racial profiling will be used, but who is trying to fool who here? The fact that the illegal immigrants are, primarily, Mexicans is a sort of profiling in and of itself. How do you tell "legal" Mexicans from "illegal" ones without arresting an entire group and sorting them out later? And how long do you think it will be before some legal Mexican with a lot of money and time on his/her hands decides to sue...

The point to you may be, it's a fair price to pay. If 35 people are arrested and detained without cause, so be it... They're Mexicans. It's not like this is their country. They're the number one cause of the down fall of our economy.

Yeah....my man!  Tellin' it like it is.  Sheriff Joe is just a mean man. Just thinking that Mexicans might be illegal is profiling.  It's Bush's fault.  It's not fair that we make these people provide proof of citizenship, even though you, me and the guy down the street have to do it all the time.  Hell, I think I'll start sending checks straight to Mexico...bypass the middle man.
