It's about race.... As I said, would we accept this law put against gun owners? The honest answer is no. Than why here against immigration? I say race.
Because the gun owners have a constitutional right to own guns. Illegal immagrints don't have a right to be here. |

The law is about race and profiling. You take those two things out of the picture and the law is useless. The law would allow every Spanish speaking, brown skinned person to be detain and question. Would you like me to provide a link that shows how many law abiding, Spanish speaking, brown skinned people will feel the wrath of this law?
davie...where is Arizona's law does it authorize racial profiling? I can't seem to find that in my copy. Provide a link that show that? That would be a futile exercise in forecasting the future and would serve as useless. Even you don't have the power to tell the future! You are just scared now. |

I too legally carry a weapon whenever I step out my door and would be most happy if/when the authorities check my permit to do so. Leave the border of this counrty and try to get back in without showing proper docments. It wont happen. YOu can bang the drums all you wnat but it is NOT about race. Jeffie is right on the nose with this one. As I type this I wonder just why I am bothering to do so. I just read some of the exchanges between davieboy and bb and see nothing has changed.
