Most historians define the "founding fathers" to mean a larger group, including not only the Signers and the Framers but also all those who, whether as politicians or jurists or statesmen or soldiers or diplomats or ordinary citizens, took part in winning American independence.

However I think you may be talking about the Founding Fathers that were as the revolutionaries. Those gentlemen would be: Benjamin Franklin, George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, John Jay, James Madison, and Alexander Hamilton. All were born in the 13 colonies except Hamilton. He was born in Charlestown., the capital of Nevis.

This make your quote "our forefathers also "came here" to get away from a king" incorrect. They were already here by birth.

"Most historians" certainly is not everyone...especially the authors of special ed books. Why on earth are you alluding to "short bus here? My post does not address the size of busses. Why are you not staying on topic?
