got an ideal how muscatine could save money and slow all the drivers down. just strip all the roads back to the brick and leave them. you know like hershey. I know it will be hard on cars but maybe they could then lower taxes. wait maybe we could just use the extra money not used to repair the roads by giving all city employees 2 more weeks of paid vacation every year. yeah, see the police would not have to radar and could focus on the gang issue, yeah win win.what say you!!

Just privatize them and let corporate America take care of it however way they wish.  Get the government off our backs.

Actually, there has been alot of progress made on roads in town over the past three years.  Anybody remember what Newell and Leroy was like, Clay and Park Ave?  Much remains to be done, Cedar St and Grandview fo example, but we're getting there after years of deferred mantenance.  Mallory's sarcastic response indicates that she ignorant of the facts.  It is a GOVERNMENT mandate (unfunded) that requires the city to perform the sewer work which is reason Hershey and Miss. Dr are torn up in the first place!

Quit griping. The roads are way better than most of the sidewalks in town.
