   I say KUDOS to the people in charge of great river days.  They had a challenge from the beginning...trying to make it as exciting as it had been in the past.  Then they all had to deal with the Riverfront flooding.  Bless all of their hearts & MCC, (Jeff Armstrong), to help it happen! 

  If this doesn't show the good old Midwestern spirit, I don't know what does!  Everyone  stayed calm, collected and focused & made it happen.  Thank you all!  We appreciate all of your efforts!

  THIS IS WHAT SHOULD BE ON THIS SITE INSTEAD OF CUTTING DOWN THE POLITICIANS ON THEIR DECISIONS!  If you disagree with them - email or call them.  Make a difference in your own backyard...then go national!  MAKE A DIFFERENCE HERE, IN MUSCATINE, IOWA BEFORE  YOU TACKLE WASHINGTON. 

i think muscatine can handle itself......the powers to be have done well....we now fine the victims of grafiti.....and god forbid u get some grass in the street when u mow your lawn cuz the cops will give ya a 100.00 ticket.....not sure what they are doing to the real criminals...just the victims and people who mow thier lawns......

Well, the new jailm is almost done. It will hold lots of grafitti victims who can't pay the fine and careless mowers. Lol.

Yeah, i know. "Jail" don't have an "m" on the end.
