Muscatine

Moving "Great river days" from the riverfront to MCC must be a disappointment to downtown merchants and bars. How do the rest of you feel about that? If you live downtown you may welcome the change due to parking etc.

we took the kids to it today......its the first time ive been there since 1993...and damn its expensive.....some of the rides were 5.00 a piece......we went about 5 and it was dead.....it was a total ripoff...the wife got me a 22 ounce coke for 3.00...a 32 ounce in a refillable cup was 5.00 and 4.00 for a refill......it will definitely be the last time i go....i remembered why i stopped going back then....but i do like it better out at the college...mississippi drive wasnt all backed up and nuts

I wonder how much in the red they went this year? The last one I went to was when Paul Revere and the raiders were here. Can't remember the year.

Anyone know why they didn't just move it up to 3rd street?  Maybe they couldn't get the bank to give up their parking lot(s)?
