not ONLY HAVE THEY RAISD PRICES THERE SELECTIONS ARE MUCH SMALLER THEN I REMEMBER.I ONLY GO THERE IF I HAVE TO AND CUSS MYSELF EVERYTIME BY THE TIME I LEAVE I SHOP IN DAVENPORT FOR BETTER PRICES AND BIGGER CHOICES NOT TO MENTION EMPLOYES THT KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT WHAT THEY SELL.IF YOU ASK AT WALLY WORLD THEY SAY WE DONT HAVE IT NOT TO MENTION THERE 1 CHECKER THEY HAVE NO MATTER HOW BIG THE LINE.WALLMART SUCKS.

That is a business strategy, mall. They want you to have to call for service repair because it makes them money. Sort of like the one little part you need on something that is a mix of parts. You can't buy that one little part anymore...you must buy the whole assembly. Started back with Chevy's 283 engine in their 57. It was so good, they hardly broke down and so Chevy wasn't selling any parts. So, they quit making that engine.

Yes, my wife dragged me to walmart kicking and screaming last sunday and, I was shocked at how high the prices were.  Ribeye steak was 7.59 per lb. vs. 5.99 at fareway!  They had colgate toothpaste for 2.00 a tube, or a 2 tube "econopak" for 4.49!  Go figure.  I do most of our grocery shopping and know my prices.  I told my wife that if I did all our food shopping at walmart we'd easily spend 100.00 more per month.  Walmart has done a super job of brainwashing weak minded people that their name is synonomous with low prices, and it's bunk.
