I want to thank everyone who responded to my post because it did help in reassuring us that we did the right thing.  Right now, it is so hard knowing she is no longer here.  Still, I find myself looking around the house and seeing her and I believe her presence will always be here.

We received a Sympathy card from Riverside Animal Hospital this morning and appreciated their response.  They provided the best of care for Maddie and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a place to take their pet for medical care.

Dearest Jack Iam so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved fur babby. I dont know if youve ever head of the rainbow bridge, but that is where your babby will be waiting for you. Six years ago I lost my old tom he was 13,not a day goes by I dont think of my old boy,

I don't know what to say other than I'm really sorry for your loss.   I would have written sooner but I've gone through the process not all that long ago and just writing this brings back the memories and tears to my eyes which I would've liked to avoid.

Mallory, I thank you for your comments about our loss and I am very sorry it brought up memories you would like to forget.  I am gratified knowing that there are so many out there who have suffered through this experience and I feel for all of you.  Our pets are in heaven waiting.....................
