Hey I had one of those days last Friday with the same problems. I ended up buying a new tower so I am ok I think if  I learn my way around windows 7.

I have hit my limits on Dental until October 1 then the new year starts and I have to have a root canal because they can not pull any teeth because of the cancer.

Hey LJ, I hope tomorrow is a better one for you. I had to get a new computer a few months ago and went thru 'withdrawal' for a spell. Not fun process, but after I got the new one it is SO much faster that now I am glad the old one crashed - actually for the second time.

Popsicles, pudding and ice cream were the supper you longed for as a youngster, so tonite you can feast on that. Not as satisfying when you're a 'grown-up', but will tide you over till you can have real food.

Probably booze isn't advised as it would make your blood thinner and that's exactly what you don't want - a bleeding mouth.

Thank you for this advice about alcohol use after dental work.  I hadn't given this a thought.  It is tender enough so I can do without the bleeding.  And as far as the computer is concerned, I am looking forward to a new one anyway but not the expense so what can one do.

LJ, how are doing today? Better we hope. I certainly wasn't thrilled to buy a new machine either. I bought an "e machine" for 400 bucks and I have no complaints. It serves my needs. I'm not doing office work or anything like that, more like looking up stuff, email and the like but I am pleased with my purchase.
