LJ, how are doing today? Better we hope. I certainly wasn't thrilled to buy a new machine either. I bought an "e machine" for 400 bucks and I have no complaints. It serves my needs. I'm not doing office work or anything like that, more like looking up stuff, email and the like but I am pleased with my purchase.
I am doing better and the swelling is less. He had to put in a couple of stitches afterwards and that was the pitts.
I had an E machine a long time ago and it was very good. I use my puter a lot so I am going with a 17.3" laptop by Dell. The cost goes along with the name I suppose. The one I am replacing is a Toshiba.
