I think they should strap them in the chair, hook up all the electrodes and then give the convicts five minutes to talk the family out of pulling the switch. Me, they wouldn't get two words out before I pulled it and I would sleep perfectly well, thank you.
Some say the death penalty isn't a deterrent to crime. Either is life in prison. This way society doesn't have to house and feed them for the rest of their lives.
