The amendment doesn't increase taxes. I just says that if some future legislature does increase the sales tax, three eights of one per cent of the increase must go to conseravation.
It's up to you to decide if some future increase should happen.

You can talk about who's naive and who's dense all you want but there is nothing in that amendment that raises taxes.
A guy who goes by 'logic" should be able to follow that.
I am sorry I did ask if you are niave, I should have asked if you are ignorant. Government does require anyone's permission except their own to raise sales taxes. Even your own party yells that in their anti-Braindead ads. Yes I said Braindead because that's what I used to refer to Branstad as when he was in office. This amendment is defunct without those taxes being raised and only a fool (at best) believes that if it were to pass that sales taxes would not be raised. Now answer straight forward yes or no, if this were to pass do you believe that the sales would be raised?
