I'm celebrating.  Thanks for asking.

I wouldn't have guessed you were that well off.

You should start a foundation to help the poor.

Starting a foundation to help the poor is a MUCH better plan than giving to the gov't to waste on earmarks to fulfill campaign obligations!

And frankly, how do we know that he hasn't started a foundation to help the poor? I guess I wonder how one would guess if a person "were that well off" by posts on this forum. If there are income guidelines for posting on this forum I'm sure those guidelines would be posted.

I hope he starts one or already has one.   If he sets it up right the money he puts in would be tax deductable so it wouldn't go to the goverment.   Everybody's happy.

Is it "guess" or "wonder"?

I'm sure there are no guidelines to prevent me from guessing any darn thing I want to.   And I don't think it's a bad guess.   What percentage of people have that kind of wealth?   One in what?   A hundred?   A thousand?   Ten thousand?   Are there any in our area?

Let him correct me if I'm wrong.

Guessing? Always opinion, innuendo; never facts, mal! And you form opinions based on that?

Why yes, I am in fact embarassingly wealthy.  And why would you assume that I haven't already established several charitable foundations?  Of course, mine are all based on that great Dennis Miller quote...."We need to help the helpless, but the clueless have got to get their act together."
