I'm harmed.

It makes me about half sick to turn on tv and see 2 gays kissing after another sick victory. They add nothing to family values.

The state is harming society if they don't oppose it.

  don't understand the word freedom or all men are created equal. how can we be free while oppressing someone else's freedom. first off marriage should be in the church not the state. understand freedom means excepting others freedoms too even if you don't agree with them. six yrs ago woman wanted to work and they had to fight for their freedom, then it was the blacks and now the gays. don't anyone know what freedom means, it's not just freedom for only you or like minded people! all you reasons for oppressing the gays are ridiculous, there have been gays through out history all the way back to roman days. even native americans have gays in their society. so you don't like so what!!!

It points to the very basic need for bigotry. Some people have to have a since of betterment. Better then woman, better then blacks, and now better then homosexuals.

I nominate Mobaydave to draw the line.  I mean, if there's going to be a line somewhere, why not Mobaydave?  What do you say Mobe.....gay marriage okay?  Pedophilia okay?  Beastiality okay?  People who have sex with vegetables okay?  Or do we just "embrace" all of these people who aren't sickos, but merely were "born that way". After all, lot's of those baby rapers claim they were just "born that way".   I mean shoot, that "there have been gays throughout history" line is fine, but there have also been murders, rapists, theives, and other sordid criminals and nutjobs, but we haven't legitimized them or made their actions legal.  Why, even those poor folks who don't know the difference between "then" and "than" need love. 

So have at it Mobe.....either draw us that line where enough is too much, or tell us that anything goes.
