Are all you guys just sitting around watching football?

Hell no. I got better things to do than watch a bunch of druggies fight and maim each other over a freakin ball.

Just could not pick up the F-ball spirit this season. Did watch the Hawks but I did not really enjoy it.

BB...there was a pretty good article in the Journal last week written by the new sports guy Matt Coss.  He described the demise of the bowl system caused by over exposure, too many teams, too many bowls, and the entire BCS concept.  Seems like a shame that those in charge of college football tried to fix something that wasn't really broken, and that in its former state generated huge fan followings and excitement centered around New Years day.

As for Iowa, I believe that most fans in the state are not interested in supporting a team that includes thugs and drug dealers, and would rather see young men of good character play hard, even if it means sacrificing a few wins each season.
