So, if we ONLY save 1% to 3% of the budget I say let's save it. I tire of everyone saying that cuts here or cuts there will ONLY save 10 billion or blah blah blah. Only spending billions here and billions there has added up to astronomical debt. Let's not do  the majority of the spending cuts on the backs of the elderly and the sick. Stop the spending on stupid stuff - like all those freakin' earmarks.

No problem saving a dab at a time, but you did say "halt all" which I disagree with.   A lot of it is worth while.   Haliburton was paid more by the U. S. government than all the foreign aid the past few years (excluding the Bush wars clean up).  They had a reported $4 billion operating income in 2008.   Who knows what more was concealed in the Cayman Islands?  Would you be opposed to asking them to contribute a little more so the rest of us wouldn't be so strapped.

Malodery:  Once again, you are confused.

Payment for services rendered, is quite different than government forced charity.

Msmal -I said to cut off funds to foreign entities who hate us and I stand by that. Quit bringing up all your liberal bull.

Commies still say 'Bush wars". Funny, I remember Congress approving all military action except obama's drone strikes into Pakistan. Why is that anyway? Likewise, Congress approves and does all spending. Take it up with them.
