Well, sorry, mallcontent....but a US President from kenya particitated in prayer over this memorial. You defended removing the cross memorial as sep of church and state. Where do U draw the line, oh conflicted one?????

How can the ACLU defend a pres from not in this country to pray at all? God is removed by you liberals! Where have you been?

Like I said in the other post...why do the Kennedy's get to keep crosses at the graves after Catholic ceremonies on federal land (Arlington); but this other memorial must be removed?

How can the pres participate in prayer in Nat'l broadcasts, when kids in school can't  on public school ground to the masses? How come easter services can't be held any more at the S. Cal memorial on Fed land; but nobama, the US Pres from Kenya, gets to pray to the world on TV with his wife?

Like I said, your understanding of the church and state issue is dismal.   When you start dealing in reality, we might have a conversation.   Until then, try to get a firm grasp on the idea that belief in God and religion are defended by the ACLU.   Having the government forcing a particular form of religion or God on those of us who don't believe or have a different interpretation is opposed.

If you get that down right, you're well on your way to getting it.

Kids can pray in public schools, silently, aloud, singly or in groups, in the building or on the grounds as long as it does not interfere with other students or school activities and no school employee is involved and there is no coercion of other students.   They can't bring in a preacher (or other religious leader) to lead them either.

I'm sure I left out other details, but that pretty much covers it.   If you understand that much you won't embarrass yourself.
