Muscatine

I really like where we live now.  There are a couple of ladies that I used to work with that live very close to us, they are both marvelous people.  There is a family across the street from us that has a daughter who is a close friend of one of my daughters.  They babysit for us at times and we help them out when they need it.  The other day when I finally got home from work it seemed like almost everybody on our end of the street was out shovelling and everybody was laughing and chatting with each other.  It was really nice.  This is the best place we've ever lived.

Frazzled, it's good to hear about your experiences with neighbors.  I have similar stories that I could share.  What a great town we live in, and what a sad situation it is for poster Mallory, who can't or won't see the good things happening every day around us, but instead focuses on the bad.  Those who I choose to associate with do not spend mindless hours in front of a computer or TV at the expense of living.  That choice is hers as well.
