Afriend of mine and i were arguing friday night  about the role of our government. We were discussing government and buisiness.  He said that the rich and buisiness' alike should be taxed to death because they are morally obligated to take care of the poor.

He said to me "your poor why would you side with the money hungry republicans" First of all were not poor...we struggle just like a lot of others do.

But i personally do NOT expect the government to take from others what they worked for to give to me. I only want what i worked for. The theory that the haves must support the have nots is ridiculous.

The liberals have created the illusion that you deserve more than you have, and it should come from the wealthy. Thats wrong, people only deserve what they work for. I realize that people sometimes need a hand, my kids and i went through that a few years ago during my divorce, we lived at the MCSA building for a month til i got things back on track.  They charge almost a hundred a week to stay there, so we didnt get a free ride and we didnt ask for one.

Our government wasnt set up to play robin hood, and they shouldnt.

Clear, concise, and well-defined, GTA1. You have perfectly defined the issue. That is one of the biggest issues that divides this country today.

" I realize that people sometimes need a hand, my kids and i went through that a few years ago during my divorce, we lived at the MCSA building for a month til i got things back on track. They charge almost a hundred a week to stay there, so we didnt get a free ride and we didnt ask for one." You didn't get a free ride, but you did get a pretty good discount. Where do you think the other money needed to put you up came from? And aren't you the same person that asked me to check for the "homeless" guys car at MCSA? What's up with that?

We were talking about people possibly scamming others.......i went to work got a paycheck and supported my kids....had it not been for my kids i wouldnt have ever went to stay there......that place is there to help people.......when people stand out on those corners doing that they create the illusion that they are sleeping on the street.

If those guys are living there then they are technically not homeless. they have a roof over thier head.

and i believe 400.00 for 30 days just to sleep there is more than fair.......we bought our own food and hung out mostly at my parents place....so before u bash my parents their landlord wouldnt allow us to stay there.

now if i held up a sign begging for money saying that i was homeless while i was staying there that would be lying.
