Got your points chief.

Don't disagree with that same old cry, this is a new congress regardless of the similar tone and faces, yup. But newly understood? and several new bottoms taking seats, that's not the point, every session and election stands as a new beginning. WELL THAT"S WHAT WE THINK, EXPECT AND HOPEwill be the case after each election. Though like you and perhaps so many others, I cannot start writing those congratulations cards just yet. It's easy to look back through those pages after each administration takes the walk of fame or shame, waves goodbye taking flight back home, while we start clipping for history's scrapbooks.

Yes again you stand tall, a lame duck is just that, but our lame duck didn't sit idly by, he vetoed EVERY SINGLE bill but the only two he wanted, the entire two years of the last congress. I know folks understand that, but some seem to feel it isn't an element within the last two years of the mess that's been revealed finally. Take a broken down jalopy to the repairman and let him fix only two of the dozen problems it has and then blame the repairman when it breaks down a mile down the road. Our lame duck quite simply did just that, then blames them for being the most ineffective congress in fifty years. Silly men sometimes get those important jobs. As for what little they did accomplish, at least they stopped him from passing yet another job killing, corporate- profit bolstering, FREE TRADE AGREEMENTS. My good fellows, if that's all they managed to get done thanks to that veto pen and the common sense to stop another job killer, then by God they did do something, though not enough. I agree with you. Thustly, I pray for a term limit bill that of course they won't write or pass.

I reralize Big B, that much of this seem like a "Want My Cake And Eat It Too" list, and as you and many many others obviously are intelligent souls, I just wish that like me, the bigger picture was as obvious as it is to me, and stand in the middle where common sense prevails. A spade is a spade and Obama has yet to show his hand if he actually has one. As for Congress, that difference between the last two years and the next, might well be the man now behind that big old desk. If that turns out badly for our nation, then the newly reinvigorated Republican party will undoubtedly replace those losers in those all important seats. Independent and proud of it, I am able to vote out every incumbent and often -I do. If we ALL did, then this would likely be a different text all together.

God Bless.
