I just want you to know, that I personnelly know a man who can copy 78's, 33's, whatever onto CD's for you, so that you will ALWAYS have those oldies.  I am a theatre organ nut, and are VERY hard to find recorded nowadays.  IF you would like to find out more about this, just email me:  pricelesspics@machlink.com.  Have a Happy Vanentines Day.  Tom Milder.

Oh My!

Thank you Tom. I will certainly do that. We just have had no idea what to do with this Cd toy, and regarding these old albums, they have been our musical salvation. I listen to Classical radio on 91.7 when it isn't loaded with new age classical, but nothing compares to the days of our father's. We have a 1916 Edison, 1928 RCA and still have our old chest console AM radio. I we still have my motheer's commode rocker! I love it's movement, but it looks so odd with that holed-platform seat. Anyway Tom, I'm going to toddle off for a few winks just now, but will get back to you re: your idea.

God Bless.

NO argument here by gosh.

It sure does sound like you got THE ONE. It amazes and astounds some when they hear of flowers at non-Hallmarked moments, a simple brush on the behind when he passes by. Or when once in a while you get that look that says it all. I understand stresses and who's share of this or that gets overlooked at times. When it seems like you are the only one doing----ANYTHING. But unlike the ladies of today, we made our inflections, did the dirty work and got over it. Today it seems as though even the slightest of these bumps is cause for a split. I would say that at 20 years, we had gotten over most of the relationship changes forced upon the family by society's taffy rending, and feel sorry for the youngsters of today and tomorrow. But as you put it (so well), ladies take note of what Roe has to say. Go slow, be pointed and hold out for the best for you. My father used the puppy syndrome analogy. Like the myriad of prints we share in difference, we each choose our puppies as well. I like the little runt at the far end of the box, reserved, shy, quiet and sad looking. Martin likes the bounding huskier laddie with all the energy and so on. We all select our puppies in a different way. The lady of today vying for true love, needs to search as you say. If all else fails, stay in school, wait a while and you'll just know him when he falls for you too.

Happy Valentines Day!

God Bless.

I had seen Muscatines sidewalk down by the river lit up at night and always thought it was beautiful.

I was living in Oakville and my boyfriend asked me what I wanted for my birthday, as it was coming soon.  He had lived in Musc.  I turned to him and told him I wanted to take a walk along the beautiful river.  He was stunned that that is all I wanted for my birthday.  That year was perfect the October weather was just right for our beautiful walk.  The weather the past week had been really cold.   As we walked along we noticed all the vegetation that was wilted from the bad weather. Almost at the end of our perfect walk he spotted one perfect beautiful orange flower.  In the glow of the walk lights he reached over plucked the last living flower on the river bank dropped to his knee in front of me, handed me the flower and said For you my lady, may our love be as hardy as this"  It is, and that beautiful little flower is pressed in my family bible, right along with birth announcements and obituary's.  Every birthday since then, rain or cold we go for "our traditional walk.  We have seen flowers flourish.  But our little pedals are tucked away.
