Ok, I guess that I have several questions for you. #1 do you believe that our healthcare systems is in shambles? Who do you think is responsible for this? Would you believe that it is the Insurance Companies, trying to make a gazillion dollars off of you and me? Do you think that it's the Hospitals, trying to make a gazillion dollars off of you and me? Do you think that it's the "Specialists" who make more in an hour than we make in a week? Or, do you think that it's all about the government, and, it's all their fault? And, if so, how long (how many generations) has this been going on? If not through Health Care Reform, then, How do we fix it? Of course, that's supposing that there is a problem with the "system". I'm just trying to get educated, because, in the 44 years that I have been voting, I have only twice seen it come up in disscussion. Please enlighten any of us who would care to be.................Shackman
I have a couple of answers -#1 I do not think that the healthcare system is in shambles. As for "Specialists" who make more in an hour than we make in a week -if I have a problem I want that specialist for an hour - NOT you for a week or however long. Lots of suggestions have been made to make our present system meet the needs of more people at more reasonable prices - but do you or for that matter ANY democrat want to do that? Did you ever hear the phrase 'don't throw out the baby with the bathwater'? The "uninsured" get their healthcare from emergency rooms. If health insurance is made mandatory do you HONESTLY believe that those same folks who have no money will get health insurance? They will continue to use the ER!
If you truly want to become enlightened you could do some research - don't believe all those campaign promises.
