You got to have some historical perspective!

Medical costs weren't so high and insurance wasn't so necessary back before government got involved, people started to believe they deserved to live forever, illness was "unfair", and people got law suit happy.

The Dems are counting on people voting for the those that bring the slop to the hog trough.

This stuff is insidious.  Once it starts (the new deal, social security, medicare, medicade, etc.) it just keeps snowballing.  Now we are being told that we cannot get along without government take over of the health care system.

Where do you think it will stop.  I don't think it ever will.  This kind of government expansion means power for the Dems and they know it.  I think it's scary as hell.

i agree with kenn that there are major problems with healthcare.......i think there needs to be some fixes....but i dont believe that a government take over is the answer...the last article i read on pelosis' plan covered fines and jail time for failing to carry insurance....they have no desire to fix whats broke...thier biggest hard on comes from the thought of recreating healthcare and thier take over of it.....

one of the sunday morning talk shows asked nobama if he would opt in to the government plan to which he totally ignored the question......and i read somewhere that the kennedy plan exempted federal officials.....do u notice that when the dems get asked directly if they would give up thier premium plan that we tax payers provide them..to opt into the plan they are trying to shove down our throats that they fail to answer or they ignore the question altogether....that alone should tell ya that its bad news........

Everyone needs to ask clinton and all the senators this question:

Where in the United States Constitution does it give the gov't the right to regulate health care???????

I just got an email that says that two "devout muslims" have been appointed to Homeland Security. I guess I'm wondering just who is feeling more secure now? Somehow healthcare seems not so important anymore. We just had a terrible incident involving a "devout muslim" and just don't think that all this 'politically correct' bull is working out so good. What say you?
