My point is still the same....if you find national issues "YAWN...BORING", then by all means pass them by, let them go, and ignore.  But I would suggest that if that is the case, you truly are missing "the forest for the trees".  I understand you just fine.  You don't want to look past your own backyard because you truly don't believe we can make a difference on a larger scale.  That's okay.  Our town needs folks like you that are committed to acting only locally.  But certainly the rest of us have the right to act locally, as well as pay attention, comment on, and be proactive on the national level.  Don't we?
