Hi DarylSmile

Congress took over in Jan. 2008 with 35 votes up, but after having every piece of legislation vetoed in 2008, they then took a super Majority in Jan. 2009 and so far have just blown it. The "Crew" I was referring to, is the administration regarding the no-bid contract hypocrisy. But I don't think you can just say Liberals were warned. There were many moderates on both sides looking the other way too. In this global mess, it's to early to set fire to this dilapidated barn, there's still some horses in there. Who knows, maybe McCain will get the guff to run in 2010 without Pailin.

Lucy.

Hi BBSmile

I missed a year, 2007 was right! sorry, but still 35 votes doesn't mean they controlled anything. Especially since they couldn't get one measure passed the oval office, but the 852 Billion banking and brokers bailout that president Bush called absolutely essential, "Too big to fail." What could they do? What can Obama do really. Well there's:::keep dropping the ball I guess.

Lucy

Sorry, bird...don't know where you were, but liberals WERE warned!

Here's a few more to add to your list from this morning's news releases:

"Government-owned GMAC loses $5 billion in 4Q." That would be Barry's bail out plan!

Updated February 04, 2010

"Jobless Claims Rise Unexpectedly to 480,000." That would be Barry's jobs plan and promise!

NObama yesterday: "You know what I think would actually make a difference, Michael? I think if everybody here -- excuse all the members of the press who are here -- if everybody here turned off your CNN, your Fox, your blogs," Obama said, before being interrupted by Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-CA, who piped up, "And MSNBC!"

That would be Barry's transparent government promise! He and Boxer don't want us to listen to the press anymore. This would be your liberal president wanting to diminish the effects of Freedom of the Press because it just hasn't worked so well for the Libs, has it?

THAT is a major constitutional scandal in itself! Anyone else gonna pick up on that slap at our constitution?

OH NoSmile

I just posted all those stinking numbers tooYell

Once those remarks make the rounds, I think everyone will have to consider the constitutional shudder of such a notion. He might have said, "We should turn off the pundits and theatrical divas." That might have been better received? I'm so tired, I'll get with yas later.
