No bid presidency

"852 Billion November 2008 too? But we didn't hear a word of such negativity then."

You are just silly, bird. Congress' spending is controlled by who is in charge. They are starting their fourth year in charge of spending, this month. Guess who that might be?

Hiya BigBSmile

Of course I'm just silly, how else can we get through this mucky world. But in spite of that, not one penny gets spent until the big cheese signs it. And though you are right as rain about who's in charge-now:::they were not the ones who signed the check in Nov.2008. But nonetheless, no one is complaining about :::That::: particular 852 billion now are they. Especially since you seem to have forgotten who tied up the vote until they got abother 150 billion added, in more corporate tax breaks. I didn't agree with it then either and sure as God is great, disagree with another massive bailout regardless of the crew in charge. I just think the shoes fit both sides feet. This is so funny, kinda like the aunt that whacks her nephews for misbehaving, but not her own sons misbehaving along side them. Kinda obvious isn't it? So please tell us::: How did the president become such a powerless figurehead, totally devoid of any responsibility, unless of course it's a democrat? That's silly too. It's truly what all this has been about. You know, pots/pans/kettles/goose/gander? When will you hardliners figure out that we cannot/should not let one side do what we don't want the other to do? But:::they did it anyway. When we are willing to be objective and fair within blaming, then perhaps we stand a chance to change things for the better for ALL of us.
