How the heck did I get dragged into this thread?

Hi DarylSmile

Congress took over in Jan. 2008 with 35 votes up, but after having every piece of legislation vetoed in 2008, they then took a super Majority in Jan. 2009 and so far have just blown it. The "Crew" I was referring to, is the administration regarding the no-bid contract hypocrisy. But I don't think you can just say Liberals were warned. There were many moderates on both sides looking the other way too. In this global mess, it's to early to set fire to this dilapidated barn, there's still some horses in there. Who knows, maybe McCain will get the guff to run in 2010 without Pailin.

well what I was trying to say, which I did not explain, was bush said the same crap to get elected and did the same thing when he did get elected(florida brother). my piont was that it is the same two headed coin, one side has a donkey and the other an elephant. I am an American who supports the constitution, If I had to pick one of the two party dictatorship it would not be a democrat, I would swing conservative republican. As long as paul runs I will always vote republican. No one  should ever vote for someone who votes against our freedoms, no one. patriot act, military commission act and fisa act. no one should vote for any elected official that voted for the bailouts, the iraq and afghan wars or healthcare. here is one link to bush saying that he would not engage in nation building and he would reduce foriegn bases. link

Also here is a link of bush on USS Abraham Lincoln saying the Iraq war is over and now we will engage in nation building(postwar) link mission complete!

tell me these are lies, you know he say these. but hey the last line in the first link is a good one!!! almost as good as " I'm not a crook"

HiSmile

No way to deny that one and IT wasn't among the list either. It's a far cry from even or 3-1, but just another example of how we tend to accept one side's booboos if that's where we stand. I realize dems have done the same thing, but with the love we have for our leaders, comes the heart aches too. Failing at a socialistic agenda::: isn't that what happened with  852 Billion November 2008 too? But we didn't hear a word of such negativity then. I hated the idea and still do. It's why I detest the phrase:::To Big To Fail:::from any president.

Gnight.
