I haven't been on here forever, I see they've changed the site again! Had a heck of a time getting here. With that being said, back about 10 years ago, when I was managing Casey's Landing, I had Berghoff beer on tap. It was made in the basement of the Berghoff eatery in downtow Chicago from before I was born. It was a Stout beer. People at Casey's loved it. I also was able to find a distributor in Rock Island that had Drewrys (sp?). A microbrew out of Minnesota was making it. I was able to buy it for 25 cents a bottle. Sold it for $2. The second time around (micro brewery), it wasn't a bad beer. Parents use to drink it, and, like Schlitz, was pretty rank stuff, back in the day. Most of those old time beers are being made by micro breweries nowadays. They'll probably all die out, once we do. Tom.
