here just a quick search brought me to this link. first off if you would read it, it is talking about armed governments vs. unarmed citizens. If you don't believe that the second amendment is not about protection from tyranny you have no understanding of the constitution. that is exactly what the whole damn constitution is about. the rules by which our government is suppose to follow, which they are not. the protection of our freedoms. unbelievible.

Maloder:  I referenced my source.  You did not.  Why is that?

I thought it would be so obvious that you would concede your source was wrong.

The numbers I used came from "nationmaster.com" but you can find similar numbers from a lot of places.

If you want to substantiate the facts I reported regarding violent crime rates in Great Britain, consult some of the writings of Theodore Dalrymple or Joyce Lee Malcolm.   I apologize in advance for my facts getting in the way of your opinions.

I'm not going to chase these guys down.   You provide me with numbers that prove England is worse than South Africa.

I already did!  And referenced my source.  A very legitimate source!   You can find it too.  It's confirmed by other studies.  I'm talking, of course, about violent crime rates like in my original post.

As far as your source "nationmaster.com": It is a George Soros fuunded web site.  In addition, if you go into nationmaster and look at assault rates and then look at murder rates you will see the same numbers.  Pretty sloppy if you ask me!

My sources, as shown in the original posts:

The British newspaper The Daily Mail compiled from reports released by the European Commission and United Nations.
