This will be fun!
There is a punctuation comma in my first sentence you chose to quote, mallcontent! Just like I used here! That separates the thought from the person being identified...as a numbskull. That "word" referred to is davieboy's use of the word "war" in his question, which also is used within the article he posted a link to.
It is fun. I knew what you meant although the comma could have been used to create a pause for effect (or affect if one prefers). You could have made it clearer if you had included "word" in the original sentence where it belonged rather than the followup.
As for your last stroke of genius, mallcontent....we are not and have not been involved in war in Pakistan. Could you please read what is offered and pay attention so you don't embarrass yourself like this anymore? There is no war there that the US is involved in that has been going on for nine years! The whole point is nobama's military just made an attack into yet another country.
I love it when you talk down to me. It usually means you're on shaky ground. We were led to believe the war is with Al Qaeda. That war has been going on for 9 years in several places, Pakistan being one of them.
Something else for you to think about.
WWII wasn't confined to within the borders of Germany and Japan. We did not ask for a new declaration of war when we started bombing Romania?
