Apologies if this subject has been discussed already.  I only stop by from time to time.  But, this is a subject that absolutely infuriates me. 

Does our federal government know something that we as citizens fail to comprehend?  Could someone please tell me why our leaders totally ignore the citizens of this country when it comes to immigration.  Why they fail to act when so many illegals continue to break the law entering this county illegally.  I have read many, many opinion boards and the opinion on this subject  is overwhelming in favor of stopping the onslaught of illegals.  DO SOMETHING!!  ANYTHING!! Let us law abiding, hard working American citizens know why our tax dollars are being wasted  on free health care, housing, and various public agencies designed to  help these people (illegals) while our schools and other essential entities are being cut everyday.

I would like to ask the government, why they  choose to side with these illegals and their forigen country against one of our American states, Arizona?  Yes, with the law suit they filed against that  state, a state  that is only trying to take back their lawful rights to protect it's citizens, is  siding against America and all of it's citizens that want it to return to the great country it once was.

I have lived many years in America, and I can honestly tell you this is the first time I have ever been frightened by my leaders.  It seems no one in the federal government cares what us lowly citizens need and desire.  Maybe it's a secret why there is no answer from them.  Maybe their silence is designed to help us in some way.  Whatever, LET US KNOW YOU ARE ACTING ON THIS ONSLAUGHT one way or the other.

Thanks for the chance to vent and I welcome all comments pro and con on this subject.  I just want to understand.

Thats an easy one, potential voters....mickey mouse, donald duck and others wont be able to vote forever....think of it this way...under obumbler they could become legal and maybe eventually citizens...who will they vote for the ones who wanted to send them back when they were illegal or the ones who made them legal....its pure politics....before its brought up even Bush stubled around on this issue too...........

Most of us are scared to death....look at how many states are actually going against obumbler.....the healthcare lawsuits, now immigration lawsuits...people are starting to fight back some....look at the vote in missouri about the healthcare and the fines....71 percent shot down the liberals on that....people are fed up and i believe u will see a great shift in power in november.....

First of all, we are NOT lowly citizens, we are the people who pay the exorbitant salaries/benefits/retirement of those very persons who are now ignoring what we voice. The sheeple who think that all these decisions made by persons who have NO experience in running so much as a lemonade stand, are what is going to keep America strong are, sadly, so very wrong or at the very least misguided. Maybe those sheeple BELIEVE that they are lowly or perhaps the govt is doing a better job of talking down to them, but those of us who KNOW that we are not lowly must continue to press for answers and elect those who give the answers that will protect us.

I have yet to hear anyone in the admin say exactly what this is and it is an invasion of our country. Plain and simple - an invasion. It looks like a war doesn't it? They come and steal our resources. Let's stop it NOW.

This is what is so exasperating.  A huge majority of Americans are screaming and screaming loud with absolutely no answers to their  questions.  It seems as if no one is listening.  And all the while illegals  just keep on coming across the border.

Take a look right here in Muscatine.  It is astounding the number of spanish families that live in this town.  I would like to think they are all card carrying, law abiding, upstanding citizens striving to better this community they live in, but I certainly have my doubts about that and that is sad to think that way. 

Maybe that is why some are so against to the Arizona laws.  In fear of what will happen if they have to show a green card.  Maybe Iowa should adopt the same laws.   Time will tell.
