The way I see it is that if it is legal all the bitching will not stop it, so get the laws changed and put them all on the tax rolls, then we will see how many get built.

This would require repealing the first amendment which I would oppose and I hope all others would.

I've often wondered though why religious property was not at least assessed the property tax for fire and police protection.

So now we have a muslim democrat US president from Kenya going on the record, to the world, supporting a single religion in the mosque issue. Where are the liberals at that should be screaming for separation of church and state?

Mallcontent has posted that taxpayer monies should not go to purchase bibles and korans for public held prisoners and terrorrists. To that end; Nobama's support of this also means he supports the tax free status the mosque will have wherin that property no longer will be on tax rolls. How is that separation?

It just amazes me that Republicans will sit and argue the Iraq war saying we had a duty to set these people free and welcome them to the American way of life. They believe this so much in fact they have had little issue offering up the lives of our service people. 4 thousand + and counting. Who could these people be that are worth so much American blood? Who could these people be that Republicans would swear patriotism and loyalty upon saving them?
