nedl Valued Neighbor Muscabamastan 5426 Posts	I think it's absolutely wrong! Just because "they" have a "right" to burn the Koran doesn't make it right to do so. The vast majority of Muslims are decent, law-abiding citizens who want to live their lives in peace. Nothing will stop the radicals and this will only make it worse. It will also infuriate those Muslims who ARE decent people. Yes, they burn our flag, but this kind of retaliation will only lead to escalation of the violence. So, we let them push us around in our own country? We run scared? I think not. September 8th 2010 Report Reply

Truepatriot Respected Neighbor USA 1297 Posts	My opinion on this is it's much ado about nothing. We have some fruit-loop of a pastor, who wants his 15 minutes of fame, saying he going to burn the Koran. In America, as asinine as that is, it's his right. As for our troops? They're the worlds best. They're on foreign soil defending our rights and freedoms. I think our greatest tribute to them would be not to restrict those rights and freedoms. That's JMO. bigbrother Neighbor Muscatine, Iowa 6176 Posts	Davie calls it "nothing"; and then calls it "asinine". I think someone is a little confused. Alot of people of the Muslim heritage like us. Only the extremists hate us. I have worked alongside many Muslim people in my travels. Those that are sincere would understand that there will be whacko extremists that would burn the Koran, just as we understood when Muslims spat, urinated, or burned a bible in the past. Not all of the Christian world turned to hating Muslims after that. The only ones this might affect are the extremists....and they already hate us. September 9th 2010 Report Reply
