I also have a problem w/ this nutjob Imam saying that if they (Muslims) are forced to move their mosque from that site that it may cause harm to our military. So this is the workings of a "moderate, peace-loving, bridgebuilder" Imam? Does not compute.

People in the U. S. (Thank God, not the government) try to apply restrictions on a certain religion that they don't apply to any others.
Some members of that religion get upset and angry because of it.
A small group prone to violence and virtually under siege by the U. S. miliitary, decide to retalliate.
That may cause harm.
That's what the Imam is trying to tell you.
