Here is the quote copied directly from the e-mail sent to me by Newsmax.com.
Will a tea party revolt conquer Washington?
A new book, "Mad As Hell" by Scott Rasmussen and Doug Schoen, suggests this may just happen.
Rasmussen and Schoen, Fox News contributors and among America's most respected pollsters, reveal the unvarnished truth about the movement that is re-making the face of America.
I am totally amazed that YOU would be getting an email from a conservative entity such as newsmax.
Why should you be ":totally amazed"? Don’t you ever read anything that you consider tainted by a liberal bias? Do you only rely on what the right winger talk radio and Fox tell you what the left is thinking? If you do you’re short changing yourself. They will delude you. You’ll get a distorted view. Try for more balance.
I get two to four e-mails from Newsmax.com every day. They each contain a half dozen or so short news items including a few miracle medicines and investments.
They’re informative, not in the way they’re intended but nevertheless informative.
I ignore the miracle disease cures and get rich quick schemes. I don’t know why those things seem to be a part of the conservative media. I know Limbaugh has them as sponsors.
I followed one of their stock tips which was supposed to go up 10,000% in six months. It went from $2.52 per share to $0.06. I don’t understand how they can continue with that kind of bad advice.
I also find it hard to believe that they would call a "respected pollster" a contributor to any news agency as pollsters technically are not contributors, but you are the one with the email - not me. That doesn't mean I have to believe it.
I just printed what they wrote. I report, you decide.
