As I tried to make this clear earlier, the Bill of Rights is not limited to citizens. It applies to everybody, all persons, all people.
You really believe the government can deprive a non-citizen of "life, liberty or property without due process of law" for example?
Would that mean that the police can shoot them at will?
Incidentally we weren't talking about illegal aliens. We are talking about a citizen of another country who was captured and brought here against his will.
Or did I completely misunderstand your comment. Were you trying to say that American people are protected from the government by the Constitution, and not by illegal aliens.
