There is one area I don't think has been talked about here at least so far, when the legal marriage between gays takes place now it can't be just a walk away situtation if or when they get tired of each other, now it involves lawyers and courts and property, etc..
As with anything someone is going to make money off of this new situtation.
Lawyers make money on opposite sex marriage dissolution already. Would you advocate that nobody marry to thwart the lawyers?
I am wondering how the new don't ask don't tell ruling is going to effect the military or not and how will they look upon a gay marriage when it comes to benefits.
They will treat military benefits the same as any other marriage. That's one of the reasons people want same sex marriages to be recognized.
