Tom, i'm just showing where he stands on an issue that i'm concerned with. In the last two days i have heard 2 statements that we will be in another war within the next 4 yrs. unfortunately both parties stated that it will be us against our own government. I have never in my 38 yrs heard anyone ever even hint about that. besides extremist groups....those are strong words

Nobama stated one time that the D.C. ban was a good thing. So now we have a president elect who believes the second amendmant should be removed from the constituion.

On one news clip, gun sales are skyrocketing, people want them before nobama bans them. One gun store owner said people were coming in with obama shirts and buttons and said they wanted to buy guns before he bans them

Right On!  I'm getting tired of John and Bigbrother cutting the guy down BEFORE he's EVEN sworn into office.  He' eliquentte, smart, AND may be the BEST thing that has EVER happened to this nation for a LONG time!  He, LIKE anyone ELSE (McCain), needs to be given a chance, to see how he can handle Congress, AND the REST of the World!  I'm getting so damned tired of this Democrat/Republican bull sheet, backstabbing, etc., thing that these folks are doing here, that, I'm so VERY surprised that the folks from Denver haven't been on here again!  I'm like you.  IF he would have been THAT bad, the Republicans WOULD have smeared it EVERY place, AND, the CIA/FBI, would have taken him OUT of the run.  AS I had said in a PREVIOUS post, the PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN, my pretty much a landslide.  IF, the Democrats are so bad, it's PRETTY funny that the GENERAL POPULOUS would have voted Democratic pretty much across the board?????? State by State?????  Tom Milder.

Does this mean that you'll be encouraging your buddy to avoid coming on this board and proclaiming that he "hates" the President?

He's pretty "eliquentte" too.

Afternoon folks,

For the second time in our participation among this group of minds, Martin(Mr.) has chimed in here. He agrees with those who fear the loss of some of the strengths of the 2nd Amendment. Though the Supreme Court did recently reaffirm it's validity, thus making it EXTREMELY difficult for our newly elected (marginally)Democratic Congress or President Elect to seriously alter that position, making it a long four year battle in court while "we the people" keep arming ourselves. Too bad for those "Gun Grabbers."  However, if you look at the manner in which "we"(not all) value our personal protections and right to eat wild animals or look at their dried heads on "Our" walls, the economy tends to control what level of protections or wild food we are willing to spring for. Like one old timer we played Canasta with always said: " When things get tough, ya sell stuff ya don't need. Ya can't eat them or drive them to work, so lotsa folk sell em."(guns).

But let me not be vague, being an independant, I will always become ill at my leader's missdeads regardless of party. My family WILL ALWAYS support the constitution, be that you have the constitutional right to call me an "old windbag," splatter poop on  a canvas, paint your car in pink spots, or vote for "Mikey Mouse".We were guaranteed the right to "Possess and Bare Arms" and once our president and representatives take that oath to protect uphold and defend OUR CONSTITUTION, then BY GOD they had best leave that most important document alone. Unlike Clinton did, while signing a weapons ban. I hope Obama has found a way to rid himself of that temptation.

Live Free or die? Nope, just live free and enjoy the protections we were given in 1776.

God Bless
