Oh my!

Martin is warmer now than a steamed bun. I agree, and we are both hoping for those of us who still care about the constitution get busy and fight this should it go further. With the exception of a pile of other issues, we're glad we didn't vote mainstream. But let's pray that the majority who helped put him there also appreciates our constitutional rights as well, and say "HEY, LOOK HERE, THE RIGHT OF THE PEOPLE TO POSSES AND BARE ARMS SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" Now we understand that there are issues among the great debaters that seem to give strength to SOME of the claims that it is misinterpreted, but when we look at how the framers of our freedom wrote back then, EVERY Amendment is up for reinterpretation by that measure. So I/we say just leave it alone, just as you would the constitutional guarantees that all the other elements of the constitution guarantee. For the life of me, I cannot understand how folks agree with this part, but not that part. That document should be as the bible, left alone. It is what it is, and means what it says. Garanteed means just that, plus a well regulated malitia.

Lets hope were too busy fixing things to even think about any further attacks on our rights. I'm not saying he will be a good or bad president, but if messes with the constitution, he should be held accountable.

hey istreat - a belated welcome to you and a wish for you to stay around...because i think you can positively contribute to this neighrborhood link board.

one small suggestion (and just my opinion)...keep your thoughts/ideas as short and sweet as possible (blogs are effective when there a quick give and take discussion).

i say this because i can see that you have good thoughts/ideas to offer.
