I heard it was Art Anderson.

That's what the QC Times said this morning, so I would not call that reporting rumor. It was buried way back in the paper. We will all be surprised if it is in 'the urinal'.

I'm sure it will be in the "Urinal" but they will have no more, or little more information than the QC Times.  You would think the local paper would be able to have more information but these folks do not have a clue.

Does everyone who decides to drink too much then drive a car (this is a purposeful act, no one forces anyone to drive drunk) deserve a second chance or does this particular person deserve a second chance?  If he had run into another vehicle and killed or severely injured someone, who would have given them a second chance?

Drunk drivers are drunk drivers, and each should be treated the same.  The system should treat everyone equally.

start off I don't know the guy personally,he probably is a good guy, but my feelings are that police officers should know better and should pay a heavier price when they break the law. specially when it is owi because they see the effects first hand. the see what happens when the public drives drunk. sorry I think police should face tougher penalties then john Q public. they are supposed to be of a higher fiber. they have been thru the training and they have seen the effects of owi. to the point he should know better.
