The problem with this "conspiracy theory" nonsense about an administration ou to get someone or someone trying to get someone's job is that it's nothing more than nonsense that circumvents the fact that this guy committed a crime. Let's see, they guy gets demoted from a Lieutenat to a Sergeant, and that as the conspiracy theorists would have you believe was someone else's fault. What ever happened to personal responsibility? My experience tells me that people who cry "favoritism" are usually the lazy incompetent ones who need an excuse for their inability to excell in any field. It's always easier to blame the system, favoritism, or someone else then to blame your own shortcomings.
So this means that the polic eunion is aprt of the conspiaracy because they allow the favoritism (sounds like what a union would find acceptable) or that the poor baby suffering from the effects of favortism who happens to have civil service protection is too stupi to exercise their civil service rights.
This whole post is nothing but nonsense used to support a bad cop. It tries to justify bad behavior by manufacturing worse behavior. Very immature and not the least bit convincing unless we assume that every MPD employee is an idiot.
