I agree....... We often forget the victim of bad or irresponsible parents.

So what does the Salvation Army do with the 'good stuff'? Do they sell it for a quarter? I think not. I have been in both SA and GW stores in different parts of the country, and I didn't see any high-end collectibles or clothing in either one. I will add that as a rule the Goodwill stores are much better organized, neater and cleaner than Salvation Arny stores. So if they are training persons to work in the retail market I would think that those skills/work habits would be most attractive. JMHO

Excuse me but where in this article did I suggest denying children anything?  Read it again!!

For me the problem would arise in the parents that chose not to get off their butts. Do the children still not need the charity? I believe they do. I felt that your statement implied the exclusion of those kids. If I'm wrong, I apologize. God knows I understand how the written word can be misunderstood.
