Muscatine

Has anyone seen the two homeless guys that stand out by McDonalds and HyVee?  Does this bother anyone that they are standing out there begging?  I really think the city should put a stop to it.  If these men are truly homeless, they can go to the MCSA and get a warm room, hot meal and some counseling, training etc.   By standing out on the corner in this weather these guys open themselves up to frost bite and other illnesses. They put themselves at risk of being robbed, abused or worse.  If they are not homeless,but con men then they have no place in out town.    That is my two cents worth, right or wrong.

Yeah, Mil and I saw them the other day when we took the kids to McDonalds for lunch.  They're probably related to all the guys up in Iowa City who do the same thing.

Janitor. Your'e compassion is showing. It isn't very becoming. If it offends your sensibilities what are YOU doing to assist?

They don't have to do this many more days.   Yobama will take care of them.  But they do have better clothes on than I do.

Seriously, these guys are flim flam artists working an ancient scam.  If this was the 1800's they'd be selling Magic Indian Elixir down on 2nd street.  I always yell "Don't worry Obama is coming" at them.
