I'm adopted, yet I beleive in a woman's right to chose. I agree that abortion is not to be used as the only form of birth control. There are many options to prevent getting pregnant, beginning with saying "no." There sadly are many mothers out there that should have either aborted or given their kids up for adoption, because, damn, they suck at being a mom. Usually it seems to be a genetic trait.

I have never had any desire to find my "birth mother," but if I was to be contacted that she was seeking me, I would meet her to thank her.

Making the topic local, is there any abortions performed here in Muscatine, or is Iowa City and the Quad Cities, the closest places?

I know there's a Birthright organization in Muscatine, but where is their office at?

It may be relevant to understand this:  If someone had "offed" Dr. Mengela in the 40's, that someone would have been charged with murder in Germany.   And don't tell me that we are more enlightened now.

I support all right to life efforts.  And, in my opinion, there are no good arguments in support of the killing of late term babies.   It might be normal to include here the words "just my opinion", but it seems kind of weak to say that when the life of a baby is in the balance, doesn't it.

Of course it would have been murder. If you condone murder, is that supporting all right to life efforts?

If you shoot and kill and serial killer, is that "murder"?   According to our legal system it technically would be "murder".   Would it morally be what we consider "murder"?
