  • Respect-O-Meter: Valued Neighbor

In my opening post, all I said was I thought Tiller reaped what he sowed. I believe there is something in the Bible to that effect. Tiller was a killer for hire. And, he was killed. His killer will also reap what he sowed. That is my message. Everything we do causes a reaction, either positive or negative. We don't know how that reaction will be displayed. To put it simply, we do good, good happens to us, or maybe someone we love. Do evil, and it bites us on the a$$ sooner or later.

i am way too late for this discussion...nevertheless (from wiki), the first law of thermodynamics states that matter (energy) cannot be created or destroyed:

The law of conservation of energy states that the total amount of energy in an isolated system remains constant. A consequence of this law is that energy cannot be created or destroyed. The only thing that can happen with energy in an isolated system is that it can change form, for instance kinetic energy can become thermal energy. Because energy is associated with mass in the Einstein's theory of relativity, the conservation of energy also implies the conservation of mass in isolated systems (that is, the mass of a system) cannot change, so long as energy is not permitted to enter or leave the system.

"conservation of energy also implies the conservation of mass in isolated systems (that is, the mass of a system) cannot change, so long as energy is not permitted to enter or leave the system."

Does that mean that liberals in a locked room would never gain or loose any weight?

If an aethiest does not believe in God, do they believe in the devil? Likewise, if not killing others is God's law (and Commandmant), why is it an aethist does not believe in killing? What reason could there be to NOT believe in killing? I have not seen any justification for that position here, yet.

Remove God/common morals and right to life/death becomes an inanimate measure.

Would it be ironic that an aethiest would work at a cemetary? Making income and profit in life from death? Interesting twist. You folks tell me.
