conservative vs. liberal

Yes, obama SAYS that folks can keep their present healthcare. obama SAYS a LOT of things that have not materialized - so now we are going to belive every word he utters? I don't think so. He repeats the phrase 'opponents of healthcare reform' - frnakly every person wants decent healthcare - but so far NO ONE can tell us exactly HOW it will be better or how much it will cost or why approx 33 MILLION folks will still be without healthcare. Not even ONE person in

Congress read the stimulus - several reams thick- and so far no one has claimed that they read it and understand what is what in this 1200 page bill - only that nancy says 'it will be approved'.

So, JOS, how do you defend 33 million folks still without healthcare after Congress votes to spend over a TRILLION bucks for it? Most of us - whether left or right - have a problem with these facts - or better yet - lack of facts.

The illegals will get it...and our citizens will not qualify for it.......they still havent learned anything from the Hawaii, Tenessee, and Mass. health insurance debacles....as the saying goes...our government could" screw up a wet dream!".....but to those who want the free ride through life...nobama is thier wet dream!

But according to the old wind bag pelosi...this insurance reform is part of the stimulous!...not sure what she meant by it....and i'm sure the dems are still scratching thier heads too......

I don't, but considering that we don't even have a bill in either house of congress yet, it's a little early to start defending it. Obviously, if it leaves 33,000,000 uninsured than it would be unacceptable.

Again, though, I think people are missing very big point: This isn't going to be free healthcare.
