He has no authority on these matters. They have to be assigned to the respective committees to take any action. So, the little doggie with his cute bow tie can say anything he wants in the press, and I'll just call him a cute little liar.
I think you error.
Google his state website; then click biography; then see Committee Assignments at bottom of page; then click on Natural Resources and you will not find his name there; then click on sub-committees and you will not find his name there either.
Google some more. Go to Iowa General Assembly and click on Committees, then Environmental Protection and you will find his name. To persue it a little further and risk a little embarrassement, scroll down a bit to Bills in Commitee. Click on this and you will find all the bills listed by number. The first one is SF263. It says something about "polutant discharge".
So, DNR is the state agency regulating state pollution; it is under auspices of Natural Resources. He does not exist there. He gets his cute little puppy dog paws slapped if he acts out of committee.
There is more to DNR than you're apparently aware of. Those cute little paws might have claws a little longer than you think.
You should really study your state government.
I'm not the only one who should study, but you said once you study everything. How did you miss this?
GPC has been in violation for a long time....how come Reichert-puppy has not taken any action against them?
They pollute for 60 years and you give him 5 to clean it up. You also don't appear to be willing to help. What have you done about it so far? What did Jim Hahn do about it?
