It just amazes me at how people look for the negative in a story.

So I'm going to point to the facts for everyone. I'll start with the bad news to help hold the interest of the sky is falling crowd.

The national unemployment rate inch up to 9.9%. (bad) It points to the fact that much work remains to be done. We can not continue to allow 6% of the working population remain unemployed. We have to do better.

Now the good news. 34 States actually saw a drop in unemployment. That's a huge part of our nation. We have to acknowledge that as a good thing. 10 states saw no change in their unemployment, while only 6 states showed an increase. Again signs of good things.

While Muscatine (under Republican leadership) was the 13th-highest unemployment rate among Iowa’s 99 counties, Iowa itself, (under Democratic leadership) ranks among the lowest in the nation.

When you check the results from General Elections, it would reveal to you that:

Wayne Shoultz is a DEMOCRAT.

Esther Dean is a DEMOCRAT.

Kas Kelly is a DEMOCRAT.

Tom Furlong is a DEMOCRAT.

Dave WATKINS is a DEMOCRAT.

So, Mr. "Facts"....WHO controls Muscatine County, davieboy??????
